We Need Your Help!

Lazarus House utilizes volunteers 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. Whether it is the Shelter, office, Learning Lab or a special event, Lazarus House could not survive without our incredible network of volunteers. We are so blessed to have a community that reaches out to offer hope and a future to our neighbors in need.

Lazarus House offers orientations for new volunteers approximately every 6 weeks where options are presented and information is shared that will help you feel comfortable in a role at the shelter. After completing orientation, you can begin volunteering in a position that matches your interests, skills and schedule.

If you are interested in volunteering at Lazarus House, please sign up for the next orientation. If that isn't possibel please fill out an application or send an email to Donna Bauer, our Volunteer Coordinator.

Volunteer Orientation

All those interested in volunteer opportunities at Lazarus House are invited to attend a volunteer orientation on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 9-10:30 am. The orientation will be held at the Lazarus House Community Resource Center, 308 Walnut St., St. Charles.

You will tour the shelter and participate in a discussion and description of all the areas of opportunities to volunteer at Lazarus House.
